What is Discovery?
Discovery is Hawking’s digital care platform, specially developed for mental healthcare. It helps practitioners to efficiently record observations, goals and progress, while enabling teams to collaborate more effectively. The platform is designed intuitively from the ground up, so that registration feels like a natural part of providing care. Discovery already reduces the registration burden by 50%. With the addition of speech-to-text and the Discovery App, up to a further 20% more time can be saved.
Speech-to-text makes documentation lighter
The new speech-to-text feature instantly converts spoken observations into accurate documentation. The technology has been developed for healthcare: it understands medical terminology, adapts to the user, and integrates seamlessly with Discovery. With the app, registration is always within reach, so documentation no longer interrupts the care process.

Smarter insights with DiscoveryGPT
Alongside the app and speech-to-text function, Hawking is also introducing new AI functionalities through DiscoveryGPT. Registrations are automatically summarised and converted into structured data. Intelligent models have the potential to detect trends and predict risks, providing practitioners with stronger support in their decision-making. Not as a replacement for professionals, but as a tool to enhance the quality of care.
